I am going to give a talk about healthy lifestyle.

There is a saying, wealth is nothing without health. Healthy lifestyle becomes more and more popular nowadays because only healthy people can fully enjoy their life.

There are 3 main things in my healthy lifestyle: healthy eating, physical exercise and leisure activities. All together these components help to keep body and mind in good condition. I think it is important to have a proper diet to keep fit. I eat a lot of vegetables and fruit, nuts, fish, lean meat, rye bread, dairy products. I also avoid eating many sweets – chocolates, candies, pies as they cause obesity. Moreover, I go jogging, play different spot games, and walk a lot.

I try to avoid stressful situations as they lead to illnesses. I am sure it is important to balance family life and work.

Teenagers in my region like to do different sports activities. Some of them enjoy basketball and football. Others prefer swimming or jogging.

In conclusion, I would like to say that a healthy lifestyle involves the mind, the body and the emotions. When these are in balance we can say we are healthy.

Task 3. You are going to give a talk about your school homework. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and will speak for not more than 2 minutes.

I am going to give a talk about my school homework.

We study many different subjects: Russian, English, Literatures, History, Geography, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Sciences. After every lesson the teachers give us homework and at the next lesson the teachers check them up. To do good at school one should make homework regularly. As for me, it takes me two-three hours every day to do my school homework.

I usually start with English language or History because they are my favourite subjects and it is easy for me to study them. Frankly speaking, nobody likes doing homework, but we should do it because it is an important part of learning. I think schoolchildren should be given less homework because students need to rest their brains after studying all day at school. Moreover, we should have time for our activities after school too and not only homework.

In conclusion, I would like to say that doing homework gives students an opportunity to look at what they have been taught in class and practice. As for me, I like studying and my favourite proverb is "Live and learn".

There are a lot of animals on our planet. They can be wild and domestic. Wild animals live in nature without people. Wolves, foxes, giraffes are wild animals. Domestic animals live with people. People always call them “pets”. Cats, dogs, sheep are domestic animals. In our region live such animals as hares, foxes, wolves. Sometimes we can see elks in our forests.

People build zoos in the cities and towns because it gives great opportunity to see rare species of animals there. Moreover, thanks to zoos, certain species of animals have been saved from extinction.

There are people who prefer keeping exotic animals at home. I think it is dangerous. There were numerous cases when, for example, a grown-up tiger or wolf bit his master to death.

In conclusion, I would like to say that life without animals would be too boring and we must take care of them.
